Virgin Blue and Skywest expand relationship
It seems DJ and XR have gone from dating to being engaged – as announced yesterday, the two carriers have agreed to an expansion of the existing arrangements to include full codeshare and baggage interline, as well as earning/burning Velocity points on XR and lounge access for eligible XR pax.
Prior to this expansion, XR flights could already be credited to Velocity — it never made sense to me that the relationship hadn’t matured beyond that, especially seeing as there is almost no overlap between XR and DJ. Win win for all concerned.
