so, i made a call a few days back to my mobile provider, enquiring about getting on to a cheaper plan. no problems, they say – but you need to sign up for a new contract to get it. i figure if i’m going to sign my life away for 2 years, i want something in return…

mac users of this phone may also be interested in isync plugins for address book and ical syncing goodness (the plugin is written for isync 2.3 and 2.4, so you’ll need to be running mac osx 10.4 of some variety).

Telstra won’t give me a new phone (after my old one was stolen), I had a Nokia N70 Music Edition–it was my little baby. And now if I want to get a new phone, its gonna cost me $55 a month in fees, plus a repayment of a new handset. Totally jipped. I’m stuck with a Nokia 6610 at the moment, don’t even have a camera

this phone apparently has a camera, but it’s a bit ordinary … no clever focus mechanism or anything. doesn’t really bother me, because i doubt i’ll use it much. hooray for cheap digital cameras!
